Using abbreviations in an English text edit

After doing some translations in recent weeks, I notice that using abbreviations in an English text sometimes makes it difficult to translate into other languages.

If the page to be translated is not too short, and if the other sentences, or paragraphs give clues, it will be possible to find a solution, but sometimes, without having sufficient context, it is very difficult to make a correct translation.
