Talk:Student Organizations/Page Creation Test Group

HI! alright, Michigan Wikipedians had a chance to sit down and workout our clubhouse page.

  1. How easy was it to create your page? Were the instruction clear? I personally haven't worked too much with templates and kept trying to edit the instruction page, thinking that I was editing our main page (my apologies for those edits). Once I realized that the pull down menus were the editing code, that was easy and I just C/P the code and changed the relevant information.
  2. I did encounter bugs in the final page save, but I have not yet figured out how to fix them. there are '{{XXX}' in the center of the page.
  3. Actually for pages that outline directions is there anyway to hide the "edit" links? That would help to distinguish the editing portion and the direction portion of the page.

More to come as I work on the other pages. MichChemGSI (talk) 02:13, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I went ahead and indef protected the editintros for now. It should mean that you no longer see an editbutton on those pages unless you are a sysop. Kevin (WMF) (talk) 21:15, 9 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
