The Education Program of Wikimedia Nederland was started in 2014 to try and develop resources allowing educational institutions to engage with Wikimedia. Since then, several higher education instutions have organised courses, workshops and writing sessions where students and staff were trained and required to write articles for Wikipedia. The program is still in a pilot phase, as additional funds are being sought. For up-to-date information on the program, see either the education program portal on Dutch Wikipedia (in Dutch only), or read the Wikimedia Nederland monthly reports (short English summaries).
