Introduction

Wikipedia Education programs are being run in universities and other educational institutions in Portugal since 2008. Wikimedia Portugal formed in 2009, and has been leading Wikipedia Education programs since 2010, notably with the realization of the first Wikipedia Academy in Portugal. After a number of years of reduced and residual activity, since early 2018 WMPT has been launching a number of Wikipedia Education programs, which are currently underway.
