Educational program of the Wikimedia Community of the Republic of Srpska is intended for all scientific and educational institutions in the Republic (schools, faculties and institutes) and aims to expand and increase the content of free knowledge while at the same time raising awareness on importance of freely accessible knowledge for all. In addition, basis behind the Edu program of the Wikimedia Community of the Republic of Srpska is the idea of modernization and improvement of educational process through use of Wikimedia projects.
Project models
editRealization of educational projects is achieved in accordance with concrete needs and type of the institution with which the community is cooperating. So far, there are several project models:

- Višegrad, 31st January – 1st February 2015.: Elementary school „Vuk Karadžić“ in Višegrad, 10 participants, 7 new articles, 2 updated articles;
- Workshops and edit-a-thons:
- East Sarajevo, 12th May 2015.: Faculty of Philosophy East Sarajevo, 10 participants, 4 new articles, 1 updated article;
- Višegrad, 25th and 26th May 2015: Wiki schoolboy: Elementary school „Vuk Karadžić“ in Višegrad, 19 participants, 19 new articles;
- Banja Luka, 25th May 2015: Faculty of Political Sciences Banja Luka, 20 participants, 3 new articles, 2 updated articles;
- Trebinje, 29th May 2015: Faculty for Production and Management Trebinje, 20 participants, 2 new articles, 4 updated articles;
- Bijeljina, 5th June 2015: Faculty of Pedagogy, 1 new article, 3 updated articles;
- Višegrad, 18th September 2015: Elementary school „Vuk Karadžić“ in Višegrad, 19 participants, 17 new articles, 19 updated articles;
- Višegrad, 10th March 2016: Elementary school „Vuk Karadžić“ in Višegrad, 24 participants, 18 new articles, 5 updated articles;
- East Sarajevo, 26th March 2016: College of Business Assistance Sokolac, 10 participants, 9 new articles, 1 updated article;
- Višegrad, 3rd March 2017: Elementary school „Vuk Karadžić“ in Višegrad, First editing workshop within project Wiki-ambassador in the Republic of Srpska, 15 participants, 15 new articles;
- Višegrad, 9th March 2017: Elementary school „Vuk Karadžić“ in Višegrad, Second editing workshop within project Wiki-ambassador in the Republic of Srpska, 17 participants, 29 new articles;
- Višegrad, 16th March 2017: Elementary school „Vuk Karadžić“ in Višegrad, Third editing workshop within project Wiki-ambassador in the Republic of Srpska, 16 participants, 37 new articles;
- Višegrad, 22nd March 2017: Elementary school „Vuk Karadžić“ in Višegrad, Fourth editing workshop within project Wiki-ambassador in the Republic of Srpska, 14 participants, 33 new articles;
- Višegrad, 23rd March 2017: Elementary school „Vuk Karadžić“ in Višegrad, Fifth editing workshop within project Wiki-ambassador in the Republic of Srpska, 16 participants, 20 new articles;
- Višegrad, 27th March 2017: Elementary school „Vuk Karadžić“ in Višegrad, Edit-a-thon within project Wiki-ambassador in the Republic of Srpska, 15 participants, 36 new articles;
