Summary: Selet WikiSchool project completed its Fall 2018 education session with a closing conference, attended by Tatarstan Center for Information Technologies representatives.
Selet WikiSchool project's Fall'2018 program had 7 Saturday sessions from Kazan-based Selet House over the course of November & December. Participants were 10 young students from 5 districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, majority of whom attended sessions remotely on Facebook or watching recordings on YouTube. First lesson on November 10 was delivered by Timerkhan & Khabil, helping participants to make first steps in the Wiki-environment. The following Saturday was the turn of Farhad to speak about wider diversity of Wikimedia projects and their participants. The program also included a number of webinars, delivered by Wikimedians from outside of Tatarstan. New format of activities introduced this time was to have dedicated practical tutorship sessions by experienced Wikipedians. The final event of the session was a closing conference on December 21, attended by Tatarstan Center for Information Technologies representatives.
