Wikimedia Serbia, in cooperation with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Applied Studies in Belgrade, has made 20 user friendly and easy to use video tutorials in the Serbian language on editing Wikipedia. The importance of tutorials is primarily reflected in making it easier to work on our Education program because it answers questions about editing Wikipedia, but they will also serve to teach the wider community and attract new editors.

We started doing tutorials during 2018. Two groups of students were involved in the drafting process. The first group consisted of Anja Simic, Filip Jekovic, Oliver Zivkovic, Virgil Penca, Katarina Jovanovic and Stevan Stojkovic, while the second consisted of Nikola Radic, Tamara Radojevic, Lazar Vasilov, Andrija Matic, Luka Resetar, Stefan Cvetkovic. The teachers of this school Ana Miletic, Marina Kecman, Ivana Milosevic and Jelena Mitic also made a great contribution to this project.

Wikimedia Serbia was in charge of designing tutorials while the production was done by the students volunteers of the mentioned school. They worked together with their professors under the mentorship on editing, production and postproduction of tutorials. Tutorials are available on Wikimedia Commons and Youtube.

Students were given the certificate of appreciation for their efforts at a special event organized by the School. Dr Vera Petrovic, the school director, emphasized that the school always advocates that students learn through practical work and that it is always ready to participate in projects of this kind. The school is one of our long-standing partners in the Wikipedia in schools project in which more than 150 students participate annually. Working on tutorials was just one segment of our partnership, which will continue this year, among other things, by creating the next group of tutorials - editing Wikipedia in visual editor and Wikidata.
