Summary: Wikimedia Education SAARC conference was taken place on 20-22 June 2019 at Christ University, Bangalore. Where participants from SAARC Countries took participation on the 3 days Conference.where we had a discussion best practices of policy,Academics with the other community members to understand the Wikimedia Education movement.

Bengali Wikimedians in Wiki Education SAARC Conference 19
Wiki Education SAARC Conference 2019 Contain a total 3 days activity including some individual Presentation, Group Discussion, Poster presentation as well as some keynote speaker.
First day: There was an inaugural ceremony of the Conference, later In the keynote address, Dr Ramesh Sharma presented many facts on Open Educational Resources (OER). There was also a session by Nichole Saad, Senior Programme Manager at the Education team of the Wikimedia Foundation about the rationale behind the Education in Wikimedia projects which was very effective for the new comer. Then Wikipedia & Education User Group presented about the vision, goals, activities of the Usergroup.
Second Day: There were space for individual presentation for those who submitted submission. I have also presented my presentation on Wikimedia Education Program Outreach Mentorship. later we participated on Group Activities by dividing into Groups.
Third Day: On the last day there was some interesting sessions where experienced Wikimedian played the role of trainer on many important topics like Program & dashboard, Wikidata, GLAM, Grants where participants got the opportunity to join individual session by rotation. The Conference ended with a beautiful Cultural program by the Students of Christ University Bengaluru.
Overall it was very good journey specially for the Education leaders of the SAARC region, i hope that participants got there future activities plan after the Conference.
