Wikimedia Poland has bravely embraced advanced Zoom and being not afraid of pandemic challenges successfully organized the nationwide conference (3-5 of July, 2020). Our special guests gave speeches e.g. about libraries, infodemics and legal cases for wikimedians. We also hosted our GLAM partners with their Wikipedians-in-Residence. The third day was almost entirely devoted to education and Wikipedia:
- The goals and progress of the Wiki-school (pl. Wikiszkoła) project were presented
- During a live panel discussion, we had meeting with wikipedians, who are also teachers in Polish schools
- We could all listen to the premiere recording Hobbit article from Polish Wikipedia - this books is in the school curriculum in Poland.
- A video especially recorded by the Education team of Wikimedia Argentina was presented with subtitles options, too.
