Training & workshop on Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons with students from Municipal Learning Center, Gurrakoc

Summary: Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group (WoALUG) organized an offline training on Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons with the students of the Gurrakoc-Istog Municipal Learning Center.

In June, WoALUG held the first offline training in Kosovo ever since the pandemic. We organized the training on Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons with the students from the Gurrakoc-Istog Municipal Learning Center. The students learned how to create articles on Wikidata as well as illustrate them with photos from their own uploads on Wikimedia Commons.

The participants went around the learning center to capture the beautiful sceneries throughout the workshop in order to upload into Wikimedia Commons and use to illustrate the articles in Wikidata they created or edited. Some of the images can be seen below:
