The education program has kicked off as the new academic year starts in Albania

Summary:As the new academic year started, we reached to high schools and universities, establishing cooperation. So far we have set cooperations with Babe Dude Karbunara and 21 Tetori high schools as part of our cooperation with Peace Corps Albania.

Education is a key pillar for WoALUG. To implement this program we are working with high schools and universities to include Wikipedia editing in their teaching curriculums. The goal of this program is to push teachers to use Wikipedia as a teaching tool, in this way, Wikipedia will be edited in an academic setting with a big potential of increasing the number of editors.

So far, we have established cooperation with: American Peace Corps Albania

Through our partnership with Peace Corps in Albania, we are working with 2 high schools in Berat, Babe Dude Karbunara and 21 Tetori high schools, delivering workshops and editathons to their students.
