Wikimedia Ukraine’s largest project in the education field right now is the article contest “Wikipedia for School”, which encourages teachers and other educational specialists to improve coverage of school curriculum topics on Ukrainian Wikipedia. Recently, we've finalized results for the second edition of the contest, which wrapped up earlier this year. The contest helped bring over 750 new or significantly improved Wikipedia articles from 60 educators across eleven school disciplines. read more...

The Wikimedia Mexico Education Program has been given the task of intervening in different educational modalities. In Mexico, social service is the practice in different sectors of society to contribute from their professional training. For that reason, we consider it an opportunity to join forces with the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Campus Querétaro in mid-2020 to develop a collaborative project where Wikimedia projects can have a participation. read more...
