The idea behind the Wikipedia Education Program is simple: educators and students around the world contribute to Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects in an academic setting.

There are Wikipedia Education Programs in more than 60 countries worldwide. We work with learners of varied ages: children, teens, adults, and seniors. We work with learners at all academic levels: university, adult school, secondary school, primary school. We utilize a variety of strategies: camps, clubs, academic coursework or classroom assignments, and social service. We contribute in many languages to many Wikimedia projects. We list those programs on these subpages.
