Deutsch: Dieser Schwenk gewährt einen genauen Blick auf das neue Bild des offenen Sternhaufens NGC 2547 vom Wide Field Imager am MPG/ESO 2,2-Meter-Teleskop am La Silla-Observatorium des ESO in Chile. Zwischen den hellen Sternen und im weit entfernten Hintergrund auf dem Bild sind viele ferne Galaxien zu sehen, von denen einige eindeutig eine Spiralform aufweisen.

English: This pan sequence takes a close look at a new image of the bright open star cluster NGC 2547 from the Wide Field Imager on the MPG/ESO 2.2-metre telescope at ESO’s La Silla Observatory in Chile. Between the bright stars and far away in the background of the image, many remote galaxies can be seen, among them some with clearly spiral shapes.

Español: Esta secuencia panorámica nos acerca a la nueva imagen del brillante cúmulo estelar abierto NGC 2547 obtenida por el instrumento Wide Field Imager, instalado en el telescopio MPG/ESO de 2,2 metros, en el Observatorio La Silla de ESO, en Chile. Entre estas estrellas brillantes, muy lejos, en el fondo de la imagen, pueden verse muchas remotas galaxias, algunas con forma espiral muy definida.
