| Description |
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The ship "Atlantis" arrives in Rotterdam. Aboard are 925 South-Moluccan people, mostly former KNIL soldiers with their wives and children. SHOTS: - Ship moors; - Moluccan women in Indonesian attire, Moluccan men in uniform; children are wrapped up warmly before leaving the ship; - people leave the ship (women in sarong and with open sandals); in the customs office ashore people crowd around the stove; - the Moluccan people get into busses; during the ride they sit silently and look out the windows; - the women and children enjoy the the rice table in the dining hall of the Demobilization Center in Amersfoort.

Het schip "Atlantis" arriveert in Rotterdam. Aan boord bevinden zich 925 Zuid-Molukkers, voornamelijk ex-KNIL-militairen met hun vrouwen en kinderen. SHOTS: - Schip legt aan; - Molukse vrouwen in Indonesische kledij, Molukse mannen in uniformen; de kinderen worden, vóór het aan wal gaan, warm ingestopt; - mensen gaan van boord (vrouwen in sarong en op open sandalen); in de douanehal op de wal groepen de mensen samen rond de kachel; - de Molukkers stappen in autobussen; tijdens de rit zitten ze zwijgend uit de ramen naar buiten te kijken; - in de eetzaal van het Demobilisatiecentrum te Amersfoort laten de mannen, vrouwen en kinderen zich de rijsttafel goed smaken. |
