Deutsch: Coding da Vinci ist der erste deutsche Hackathon für offene Kulturdaten. Seit 2014 vernetzt Coding da Vinci technikaffine und kulturbegeisterte Communities mit deutschen Kulturinstitutionen, um das kreative Potential, das in unserem digitalen Kulturerbe schlummert, zu entfalten. Der Film dokumentiert Coding da Vinci in Berlin 2017. Nach einem Kick-Off am 21./22. Oktober an der Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin folgte ein sechswöchiger Entwicklungs-Sprint. In diesen Wochen entwickelten verschiedene Teams aus ersten Ideen funktionierende Prototypen, die in der Abschlussveranstaltung mit Preisverleihung am 2. Dezember im Jüdischen Museum Berlin der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert wurden.
