Komische ontwikkelingen rond het personage Fatty. Fatty is met zijn vrouw in het park wanneer hij een leuk meisje ziet. Fatty zit in een park met zijn vrouw. Hij wil een cola drinken, maar dat mag niet van zijn gierige vrouw die hem naar het fonteintje stuurt om zijn dorst te lessen. Hier komt Fatty een andere man tegen. Deze gaat bij Fatty's vrouw zitten en pikt geld uit haar handtas. Intussen ziet Fatty een leuk meisje, de vriendin van de andere man, waar hij mee flirt. Deze twee gaan naar een ijssalon. Om de rekening te betalen heeft Fatty de handtas van zijn vrouw gepakt, maar deze blijkt leeg te zijn, waardoor hij het meisje achter moet laten wanneer hij geld gaat regelen. Ondertussen zit een oude politieagent en de colaverkoper achter de dief aan. Uiteindelijk komt Fatty de dief tegen en leent een rijksdaalder van hem om de ijsjes te betalen. De dief ziet dit en wordt kwaad als hij zijn vriendin bij Fatty ziet en na een gevecht gooit Fatty de dief op straat. Maar dan komt Fatty's vrouw die de dief achterna rende ook erachter dat Fatty vreemdging. Ze slaat de vrouw neer en terwijl de dief hen lachend bekijkt, wordt hij op zijn achterhoofd geslagen en meegenomen door de politieagent.

Fatty takes a walk in the park with his wife when he spot a nice girl. He want to buy a softdrink, but his wife won't allow it and sends him to a water tap. There he meets another man who sits next to Fatty's wife and steals money from her purse. In the mean time Fatty treats the nice girlfriend of the other man to an ice cream, but he cannot pay as the purse of his wife is empty. An old policeman and the seller of softdrinks hunt for the thief. Fatty meets the thief and borrows some money from him to pay for the ice creams, which angers the thief. Fatty's wife reappears and beats the girl up, while the thief laughs and is taken in custody by the cop.
