English: A couple making fritters in Hainan, China. Each contains some fermented beans, chopped spring onion, and a small cube of pork meat. They don't have a name for them, but they are sold throughout the province including Haikou. These sell for 5 mao (jiao), equivalent to around 8 US cents. Variants may be made with no meat.
