| Description |
English: Uniaxial expansion of honeycombs due to swelling of the inclusions. Local isotropic expansion of the inclusions is directed into uniaxial expansion of the whole honeycomb thanks to the honeycomb unit cell shape. The effect is more pronounced in a honeycomb with the same unit cell shape but thinner walls. |
