Description
English: This small clip shows how sugarcane is crushed and juice is extracted in traditional Indian way. In south India the place where Jaggery is made is called Alemane. The press uses two he buffaloes to drive the press. This video was recorded at Karnataka state level Krishi Mela- 2013 held in Moodbidre (i.e. in Alva's Vishwa Nudisiri Virasat).
