Nederlands: N.a.v. het ongeluk in de kerncentrale van het Amerikaanse Harrisburg werd bij de kerncentrale in het Zeeuwse Borssele door tegenstanders gedemonstreerd. De kerncentrale van de Provinciale Zeeuwse Energie Maatschappij produceert jaarlijks voldoende elektriciteit om voor éénvijfde te voorzien in het totale huishoudelijk verbruik van Nederland. In de kerncentrale, die vijf jaar in bedrijf is, wordt in continue ploegendienst gewerkt en in het reactorgebouw worden jaarlijks ongeveer 3000 bezoekers rondgeleid. REACTIES van enkele demonstranten en een medewerker op het ongeluk in Harrisburg. SHOTS: demonstranten bij kerncentrale Borssele; model int. kerncentrale; splijtstofelement; verwijderd splijtstofelement in opslagbassin; turbinehal met dynamo, waarmee elektriciteit wordt opgewekt; lozen koelwater in de Westerschelde; bezoekers met speciale kleding worden rondgeleid; afzuiginstallatie; noodkoelsysteem; rijer langs regeltafel in de regelkamer. |
