A once-act farce about two neighbours who purchase a car that they can use to go on drives with their wives. But the car does not survive the ride. The two neighbours buy a car together, and take their wives out for a drive. They undergo all kinds of accidents, and along the way the car loses more and more of its parts. In a frontal collision, the car is destroyed, at which point a horse and carriage no longer seems like such a bad idea.
