Summary

Description
English: Lebanese-born Rima Fakih is the winner of the 2010 Miss USA beauty pageant. She is the first Arab American and Muslim to win the crown, and she has wide support in her adopted hometown of Dearborn, Michigan. While supporters there are cheering for her accomplishment, some have raised concerns that the pageant and provocative pictures of her, released after she won, clash with the conservative values of the Muslim faith. In an interview with VOA, Rima Fakih addressed those concerns as well as her goals as Miss USA as she heads into the Miss Universe contest this summer. VOA's Kane Farabaugh has more.
