The cooperation with the Austrian Federal Monuments Office is the first GLAM-project and with Hubertl the first Wikipedian in Residence in Austria. Donated by the Community-project-budget (CPB), a professional book scanner was purchased for partial digitization of of their library collection, comprising more than 90,000 pieces, . In addition, also thousands of historic architectural plans.

To implement this task, a workplace in the Hofburg is permanently available. Inside the oldest part of the imperial habsburg residence, the Swiss Wing (13th Century). Over the next few years, some hundreds of thousands of scans are to be created to capture the published art and cultural history of the Habsburg monarchy, but also far beyond. This GLAM-project is, due to the amount of material which was released in its entirety for Wikipedia, designed to last several years. For this reason, this project is also unique, because it provides the first permanent cooperation with a governmental authority worldwide.

In 2012, the Austrian Wikipedia community has won jointly with the BDA the Zedler-Award, founded by WMDE for the best german community project.

In addition, I have also set up a visiting service, so that any interested person, may it be Wikipedian or not, can visit my work and too, this part of the Imperial Palace. So far, 50 people have taken advantage of this service (May 2013).
