GLAM/Case studies/Smithsonian Institution Archives
From March to June 2012, Wikipedian and George Washington University Museum Studies Masters student Sarah Stierch served as Wikipedian-in-Residence at the Smithsonian Institution's Smithsonian Institution Archives. This is Stierch's second role as Wikipedian-in-Residence at the Smithsonian Institution, and Stierch was awarded an Internship Award for her part-time position.

- SIA worked directly with regional Wikimedians who visited the Archives and worked with digital and offline collcetions to create and expand content about women scientists connected to the Smithsonian Institution.
