- Fondazione lettera27 (→w:it:Progetto:WikiAfrica/Istituzioni/lettera27 - case study in English) initiated Share Your Knowledge and WikiAfrica.
- Africa Centre (→w:it:Progetto:WikiAfrica/Istituzioni/Africa Centre - case study in English) is the main partner for the projects.
- NABA - Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (→w:it:Progetto:WikiAfrica/Istituzioni/Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti - case study in English) between 2007 and 2011 its students have been involved in contributing to the Wikimedia projects within their course and exam of Art Economy.
- Casa Africa has supported WikiAfrica with a workshop organised in collaboration with Wikipedia Spain.
- Revue Noire, Africa e Mediterraneo and Associazione Cherimus have expressed support to WikiAfrica/Share Your Knowledge.
- Asinitas; in 2007 and 2008 staff members of Asinitas contributed to articles on Wikipedia related to migrants, borders and education.

- Individual photographers →w:it:Progetto:WikiAfrica/Share_Your_Knowledge/Fotografi per SYK - case study in English.
