10 reasons why the National Library of the Netherlands moved its Wikimedia-related publications from SlideShare to Zenodo, and keeps them on Wikimedia Commons
During the summer holidays I migrated my professional archive of open access presentations, articles, workshop materials and other publications of the last 13 years from SlideShare to Zenodo. As most of them are related to Wikimedia, I also made sure to have copies on Wikimedia Commons.
As the Wikimedia coordinator of the KB, national library of the Netherlands, I wrote a long-read about my journey in transitioning from SlideShare to Zenodo. I explain my motivations, and why I've chosen Zenodo + Wikimedia Commons as the ideal combo to make my professional output more visible, findable, reusable and durable, for a diverse range of audiences.
