Photo contests
Photo contests are among the most popular formats picked up by local organizers as collaborations are starting in Wiki Loves Living Heritage.
The European Network of Focal Points in the UNESCO 2003 Convention organizes a European photo campaign to document people making efforts to take care, transmit and safeguard the living heritage of humanity between 5 June 2023–15 September 2023.
Finnish Heritage Agency and Wikimedia Finland organize a photo contest in Finland to make living heritage visible between 9 May 2023–10 September 2023.
Wikimedia Norge and Arts and Culture Norway arrange an image uploading and Wikipedia editing campaign in Norway and Sápmi between 4 May 2023–30 November 2023.
Wikimedia Norge and Arts and Culture Norway jointly arrange a wiki contest in Norway and Sámi between 1 May 2023–30 November 2023.
Events
Individual events organized as part of the global program as well as locally have invited participants to focus on living heritage.
Workshop intangible heritage Flanders organized wiki activities as part of festivities in Flanders 3 June 2023.
The first Wiki Loves Living Heritage Bazaar brought together Wikimedians and living heritage coordinators in Europe. This model can be replicated in other parts of the world.
