Generic articles

edit

An excellent, in-depth study; setting the bar high for others who will write up future projects!

Your four codes all link to specific articles about your museum or objects in its collection; but don't forget that you can also have codes for generic articles, such as "World War 2", "The Industrial Revolution", "Teddy bear", "Germany" or "Punch and Judy". Thanks Andy! I added a section explaining our reasoning for specific articles and pointing out the usefulness of general articles to other GLAMs. (see Why not link to more general articles) HstryQT (talk) 15:01, 21 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, but could I encourage you to experiment with linking to more general articles as well, perhaps using smaller codes than your splendid, specific ones? You never know, you might find that your visitors enjoy using them. 93.97.168.150 11:57, 24 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
