Bad link
editThere is a 'Bad title' error in the second link in section 'WikiProject: United States Public Policy & Article Quality Metric', the one piped to 'article quality assessment metric'. I tried several alternatives to attempt fixing it, but to no avail. It needs a fix from one more conversant in formatting, than I. The same problem exists in the 'Related Pages' section, the last link on the page. Regards, CasualObserver'48 13:13, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
- Hello CasualObserver, I fixed the two links and by looking at View history and then selecting the two versions you will be able to see how I did it. In short: I removed the pipes (|), because there are two types of links - internal (inside Wikipedia) and external links. Internal links have two brackets around them, and can be piped to produce a different title. External links on the other hand, can be done in two ways:
- just writing the URL like this: http://outreach.wikimedia.org - in that case you cannot produce a different title (you need to include the http:// part)
- using single brackets like this: [http://outreach.wikimedia.org Outreach wiki] which results in a link like this: Outreach wiki - when you do this you do not pipe to produce a different title, you put in a blank space. I hope this helps.//Hannibal 20:55, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

editThis in the 'Metric Assessment' section:-
- We are waiting for classes to get started to recruit some Wikipedians and Public Policy subject matter experts to help assess the articles and test drive the metric.
The class from Lehigh has already started so maybe that sentence could be reworded? What's the latest? Bejinhan 03:56, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
