translation edit

I've updated the text to the final copy, and marked it for translation. I'll do more cleanup and formatting, and insert image files that should be localized, soon.--Sage Ross (WMF) (talk) 14:47, 14 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Could you change the images so that they are displayed instead. That way it is easier to see which images need localisation and it shouldn't make any difference for the translation interface. /André Costa (WMSE) (talk) 08:59, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Done. (I also found I'd accidentally mangled one of the translate tags, so there was a section that hadn't been listed for translation.)--Sage Ross (WMF) (talk) 10:32, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. It looks like File:Editing Wikipedia p 11, wiki markup illustration 3.png doesn't exist though. I also changed a wording in the trademark template on the last page after an e-mail exchange with legal (Commons->Wikimedia Commons). Looks like this is wrong in all of the brochures. /André Costa (WMSE) (talk) 10:36, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for catching that. I had a slight typo in the name of the file that I uploaded; it's at the right title now.--Sage Ross (WMF) (talk) 18:21, 12 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sisterprojects edit

One of the goals of Wikimedia is diversity. I think we can reach this goal if we inform possible contributers not only about wikipedia, but also about sisterprojects like WikiJourney, Wikiversity, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Timboliu (talkcontribs) 18:02, 26 July 2014‎

Hallo, Timboliu. Thanks for your comment. Diversity is very much a movement value and encouraging contributions to our sister projects may indeed help increase participation and reach, which are two of the Wikimedia Movement Strategic Plan's priorities. It's good that you're thinking along these lines. You might choose to share your suggestion at the Village pump -- since this talk page may not get many eyes -- and together with other volunteers there brainstorm ways that we might be able to do that here on Outreach wiki.
