What, no user page? Fine fine, here is one.
I am a software developer and systems engineer at the Wikimedia Foundation. In the rest of my time I agitate for more contributions to Greek language projects and when I have extra time after that I even edit. If you want to reach me, best place is on my talk page on the Greek Wiktionary.
The content I'm involved in adding to outreachwiki is in the context of an initiative to double the number of articles in the Greek language Wikipedia in the next year. So far there's a series of workshops underway and we're trying to develop content for these workshops. It's in a very embryonic stage. My work here, like virtually all my edits, comes out of my "free time", i.e. it's non-official activity.
I believe very strongly in our mission, which is not about creating a free and open encyclopedia, though that is one step in the right direction; it is about enabling everyone in the world to have free (as in speech and as in beer) access to the sum of all human knowledge. That's a huge vision, and it will take all of us to make it real. Join us!
