Primary education students are not considered to be effective Wikipedia article contributors. Our results show otherwise. Third grade primary school students, working in groups, and using sandboxes for developing content before publishing it in article space, can create articles. Four lessons of inspiring and teaching the basics is needed before editing, for reference and guidance during the editing classes. read more

Faculdade Cásper Líbero junior undergraduates in Social Communications have created and substantially improved entries on museums in the Greater São Paulo on Wikipedia in Portuguese. This is to date one of the largest education programs that was ever set up in Brazil. read more...

A Wikipedia Workshop was held at Management and Science Institute Srilanka on 4 May 2017. About 28 Foreign participants and 15 Local participants were present at that workshop. The workshop was about “How Wikipedia is Contributing to Global Education”. In the Audience there were some University professors as well the dean of MSI. read more...
This academic year 2016-2017 has been indeed very prolific for the Basque Wikipedia and the Basque Wikimedians User Group. The 1-credit course offered for students from different university schools came to an end in June, but was followed by a crash course organized in collaboration with the UEU, the Basque Summer University, and Basque Wikimedians flying to Edinburgh's Celtic Knot. read more...

New publication examining student perception of editing Wikipedia in class in Australian higher education. Surveys were combined with focus groups and case studies.
