English: Polyp bud. Movie comprised of serial optical sections of a phallodin stained F-actin (red) and DAPI stained nuclei (blue) through a polyp bud. Early frames are basal. Note the absence of longitudinal muscle strands of the polyp. Optical depth, number of sections: 22 µm, 10. AX, axial muscle fibers; CM, circular muscle fibers.
