New feature: GLAM activities in Wikidata
This new report will hopefully become a regular part of the monthly GLAM newsletter. Please contribute to future editions!
- The Library world will use Wikidata to link its information to any and all Wikipedias. No longer English only, but every Wikipedia will be exposed in this way.
- Authority control identifiers are to get their own datatype. (see phabricator:T95287)
- The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision has started a Wikidata-based encyclopedia about Dutch television history called BengDB.
- Wikimedia Sverige adapted a brochure about Wikidata for GLAMs.
- Blog post: Wikidata emerges as central element of GLAM-WIKI 2015
- Commons-WD: a tool to edit Wikidata based on a Commons category
