One of the paintings by Manet that got an new article in February on German Wikipedia
In February we focused on arts. About 20 Wikipedians came in the end of the month to the Von der Heydt Museum in Wuppertal and took part in a special guided tour through the Édouard Manet exhibition. This was the third time we cooperated with the gallery. The format applied was the Wikipedian KulTour – the little sister of GLAM on Tour. It is easy to organize, attractive to volunteers living close to the site and gives good results. Until now already 17 new articles were written in the German Wikipedia, like this article on the painting Chez le père Lathuille, en plein air. It has become a little tradition, both to the museum and to the local Wikipedians as both benefit from the cooperation.
