The French professional meeting dedicated to GLAMs will know his third edition this year on April (date to be confirmed). The main thematic will open content. The morning will be the opportunity to present the report on the open content practices of cultural institutions in France. Exchanges and feedbacks are planned for the afternoon.
Wikiway
Wikiway is a free open source application offering access to the contents of Wikipedia, mainly aimed at people who do not necessarily have time to go sightseeing but want to know more about the cultural environment on their way. It is about contents related to the cultural heritage but also about information about the cities (demography etc.). The app is entering the final phase before its release in June. The mock-up of the beta version is ready and is undergoing some corrections. If you want to know more about the features proposed by the application, you can access the project page in French here: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Projet:Wikiway
