Wikipedia course at La Yutera
Between March 2 and 13 a new Wikipedia course was held in La Yutera Library, in Palencia, belonging to the University of Valladolid. Throughout four sessions, 8 people learned basic knowledge about Wikipedia and how to collaborate and started their first articles.
Women´s Day Editathons
On the occasion of the International Women's Day several editathons were held focusing on the creation of content on women and involving more women in the editing process. Most of these events were held in a library.
On March 4 was held the editathon Art + Feminism in Valencia, in the public library Carmelina Sánchez-Cutillas. On March 8 in the library Joan Reglà in Valencia, focused on women and archaeology. The same topic was chosen for the event of March 9, also in Valencia, in the library of the Museum of Prehistory, in collaboration with Amical Wikimedia. Finally, on March 11, an editathon took place in the library of the National Archaeological Museum, in Madrid, also focused on women and archaeology.
