Hello!

Since October 2017 I am employed at Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. as project manager "Culture & Community". A part of my work includes to win the cultural and memory institutions for the active implementation of the ideas of open culture and free knowledge in their institutions.

My main task is to help the volunteers of the Wikimedia projects to organize, for example, writing workshops and photo tours in cooperation with the cultural institutions. Together with our partner institutions, we host events, conferences and symposia that share an eye-to-eye exchange on the current positions of the relationship between shared cultural heritage and their own digital agenda.

More information on this topic can be found on the blog of Wikimedia Germany. The GLAM portal offers volunteers and institutions the opportunity to actively get involved and network with each other.
