This is a summary of activities organised by Marios Magioladitis (User:Magioladitis) in year 2015 in applying Wikipedia and its sister projects to (Adult) Education. It contains school activities and scientific submissions.

January

School project on articles in Greek and English Wikipedia and uploading in Commons begins. The project starts with a Skype contact with Anna Koval. The project is coordinated by Marios Magioladitis (lead coordinator), Amalia Pagrkati (teacher of Greek) and Angela Hirdari (teacher of English).

Approximately 15 students registered to the school project.

March

Eleni Apostolaki gives a talk on a joint work with Marios Magioladitis along with Kostas Skiadopoulos. It is titled The Use of Wikipedia as Educational Tool in Secondary Education at a conference called Good Practices and Innovation in Secondary Education which was organised by the PanHellenic Pedagogical Society for Secondary Education on 14-15 March 2015 in Athens.

The submission was later publish in Erkyna, Bulletin,(Special) Issue 4, pp. 123-128. Available at http://www.erkyna.gr

Mid-term presentation on 31 March 2015 in Corfu.

April

Adult students participate in the 5th Digifest in Corfu.

June

Adult students receive their certificates and t-shirts by Wikimedia Foundation for participating in the school project. Anna Koval sends a recorded message.
