editWow, that was fast! Thank you so much. --Frank Schulenburg 14:38, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
Hi. The deletion summary of Wikipedia India Education Program directs questions to you. I have a few questions since I received several bizarre e-mails about this page and surrounding issues. Is there a discussion somewhere about Wikipedia India Education Program? Why was this page deleted? Why did James delete the page and direct questions to you rather than you deleting the page yourself? --MZMcBride (talk) 03:59, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hey MZ, chiming in since I know Philippe is busy but if I say something wrong I imagine he'll correct me. I did the deletion because he was away from the computer at the time and I wasn't. it was deleted because, to be honest, it's a page that did not fall under this wikis responsibility and was being used only for harassment and attacks. As a generally WMF run site we decided it made most sense for one of us to do it (especially with all of the Education folks traveling internationally at the time). - Thanks for the quick reply. I've now received additional bizarre e-mails from a Romana Busse... I'm still not really sure what they're about. It's something to do with India, (child?) pornography, and lots of sockpuppets on the English Wikipedia, maybe? I should probably just archive the e-mails. Perhaps I'll forward them to you to enjoy. --MZMcBride (talk) 23:33, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
- To go off of what you received for e-mails, that kind of the gist of what the page said, but it is still odd that they randomly reached out to you, unless there is something that I am missing. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 01:31, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- They seem to be reaching out to a large group of random people (for most of the emails there are also a large pile of bcc's to make it even more fun). Jalexander-WMF (talk) 03:02, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
