- YouTube requires 10 fields to be filled in: email adress, user name, country, postadress, birth year, birth month, birth year, gender, privacy setting, and accepting email from Youtube + accepting YouTube's terms of use
- Wikipedia has a instruction text of 681 words – which means that you have to scroll down to see the fields. There are 17 links in the text, underlined and bold phrases, an exclamation mark on reddish background, and text in red, plus one text box with frames
- Facebook has an instruction of 54 words – divided into several areas, one image, two headers, two links (why do I need to provide this? And Create a page)
- LinkedIn has an instruction of 52 words – divided into several areas, three images, one header, one link
- Google has an instruction of 134 words, not counting the terms of use (which is nearly hidden in a scrolling window), 6 links, two headers and a horizontal bar for separating different areas of questions
