On this page, we have written the content for the new account creation process pages. Read more about the background. Right now, we are testing two versions on English Wikipedia:
These versions are compared to the original one, and will be tweaked and changed regularly for the remainder of the test. NOTE: We are aware that the pages look very different on the various language versions. For briefness' sake we are keeping it to English first, and then translate and test each version against each other. If you have any ideas from other language versions that you think we should test, please translate into English and put it up as a separate version below. What happens next?editOnce we determine which solutions produce the best results, we work on them to make them better-looking, and hopefully we can show enough improvement over the existing versions by July that many language versions of Wikipedia (and its sister project) will want to roll these changes out.
