In August the roman history comes to life in the Archaeological Park Xanten (APX), when the volunteers of Wikimedia projects visited the area. The Archaeological Park is at the same time a centre of high-calibre research and a fun place to relax and play games. During the weekend of "Wikipedia trifft...die Colonia Ulpia Traiana" many new images have been created for the Wikimedia projects. On-site shooting was done with a drone and a 360 degree camera. Exciting tours through the APX and talks with the APX team rounded off the great event. Many articles could be revised or expanded.
