In October, the kick-off of the second Wiki Loves Fashion in the Netherlands took place in Hengelo, the home of the Netherlands' only permanent 'Wikikring', a monthly gathering of 'Twentse' editors of Wikipedia. The event, which took place in the library downtown, kicked off with a lecture by the multi-faceted artist Theodorus Johannes on Gender-expression in fashion, this year's theme. Afterwards, people who were interested were assisted with their first steps on Wikipedia. There is still an ongoing online event that ends in November, though the first articles and photos on gender expression in fashion have already been posted!
