Edit-a-thon in the Parque de la Memoria and new materials in Commons

New material in Wikimedia Commons

In the month of september we release materials and data from different cultural institutions of Argentina.

The Argentine Academy of Letters release 52 news books to Wikimedia Commons.
Buenos Aires donated a data set with more than 5000 item to create in Wikidata.
The office of the Ombudsman release 74 files about the city of Buenos Aires.

Edit-a-thon Art&Memory

On September 23th the staff and volunteers of Wikimedia Argentina made an edit-a-thon in the Parque de la Memoria. The event started with a guide tour for the park, after that the GAC (the street art group made) made a presentation about Art&Memory and then the group of volunteers edited about Art&Memory.
