translation

edit

Hi. I see your work at WikiArS/Case Studies/Explaining Naica infographically/es but there is one big problem: the extension doesnt allow to use other source language than English :( So if I mark it for translation then it will be recognized as English and also WikiArS/Case Studies/Explaining Naica infographically/es/en will be created… Can you write the text in English? --Base (talk) 11:49, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Also anyway read the docs in mw:Help:Extension:Translate/Page translation example, mw:Help:Extension:Translate/Page translation administration :) --Base (talk) 11:50, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your messages. I'm trying to understand the translation system here and in Commons. I erased the <translate> tag from the Catalan and Spanish pages. I hope that it is ok in the wikiArS main pages: wikiArS < it's all ok there?
If I want to ask for translations from another language into English, there is a way to do that? even if it is not automatic, some page to ask manually for the translation. --Dvdgmz (talk) 11:12, 16 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Moreover I'm seeking for someone who can translate WikiArS/Case Studies/Explaining Naica infographically/es because it is a complex and large text for my level of English to translate. --Dvdgmz (talk) 11:19, 16 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
On wikiArS all seems to be right, i've just done some minor fixes. Well, you should ask someone to perform translations into Engligh manualy and not via extension. Perhaps, someone in IRC in #wikipedia-es may help, idk. --Base (talk) 12:12, 18 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Categorization

edit

Sorry for creating a lot of topic in this page :) Please categorize your pages. There is already a mess - let's not keep doing like it was :) --Base (talk) 11:52, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

No, please, warn me of what is wrong. These month from spring to autumn I'm trying to consolidate wikiArS initiative, creating pages and resources to make easiest to participate. I put categories now. Look at Category:WikiArS_initiative and its subcategories. It is ok? Any suggestions will be welcome. --Dvdgmz (talk) 11:17, 16 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Seems to be ok. Actually, any category is much better than no categories :) Thank you! --Base (talk) 12:12, 18 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

WikiArS and the English Wikipedia Graphics Lab

edit

It's great to see WikiArS/assignments. Are you aware of the Graphics lab on English Wikipedia? Your students could also offer help with illustrations there. --Pine 06:46, 24 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Admin review

edit

As you may have seen, I have contacted many admins who have been inactive. I am also messaging other admins who technically are not inactive but who have very few actions in the past year—some of whom have never used any admin tools here. I would like to know if you are interested in having these rights still. Please respond here with {{Ping}} to let me know. Thank you. Koavf (talk) 22:22, 13 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
