Hello Praxidicae and welcome to the Outreach Wiki!
Our mission is to recruit and support new Wikimedians and to build strong relationships with cultural and educational institutions. Want to help? Here are ways that you can get involved:
- Indicate your languages and skills on your user page so we know how you can best help!
- Review the bookshelf materials, help with localization and add your feedback.
- Learn about our work with cultural institutions, educational institutions, and libraries.
The Village pump is a great place to ask questions. Thanks for stopping by. I hope that you like Outreach Wiki and decide to stay!
Tagging of user pages edit
Hi, I noticed that you tagged a number of pages for deletion with the allegation that they were created by spambots. However, those users appear not to have created spam on Outreach and do not appear to be globally blocked. I agree that the messages on the pages look similar, but I am not seeing harm in letting them stay as they are. Is there a reason, other than their similarity, that you think that the pages should be deleted? --Pine✉ 01:36, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- Hi there, Pine! They are following identical spambot patterns with the same exact text and are indeed bots. Here is some useful information from meta and some comparisons of bots: outreach - dewiki -enwiki - frwiki, frwiki, frwikinews - | outreach - cawiki - cswiki - cswikt - dewiki - You can tell in these two particular examples that they are bots also because of the nonsense edits where they change the fake name.
