Enriching Wiki projects in different ways
It is our pleasure to return to organizing a larger number of activities, concluding cooperation, making plans for future wiki successes, and providing access to cultural heritage on the Internet. We and the environment in which we operate are still fighting an invisible enemy, the COVID-19 infection, but with good adaptation to new conditions and respect for precautionary measures and pandemic measures, we manage to achieve the goals and reasons for our existence as a branch of the Wikimedia Foundation. We are excited about the achieved results, but also about the activities that are yet to come.
Concluding long-term cooperation
We signed with the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia a Memorandum of Cooperation. During the meeting with the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia, the representatives of Wikimedia Serbia visited the Art Pavilion "Cvijeta Zuzorić", during which we agreed on joint activities. During the meeting with the representatives of the Association, we discussed the potential directions of our cooperation, as well as the great potential that its realization can get. Throughout the visit to the Art Pavilion "Cvijeta Zuzorić" and the ULUS Gallery, we made sure of the rich history of the Association and the important contents they possess.
The Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS) was founded in 1919 and is the largest art association in Serbia, with about 2,000 members. The goal of the Association is to promote artistic creativity and it is a free and voluntary association of artists. Throughout history, the association has been joined by numerous artists who have left a deep mark on the art and culture of the world like Uroš Predić, Đoka Jovanović, Simeon Roksandić, Milan Milovanović, and numerous others.
Great results of Wikipedian in residence
The two-month Wikipedian in residence project at the Association for Culture, Arts, and International Cooperation Adligat has been completed. During the realization of this project, numerous biographies of individuals important for the development of culture in the whole world were covered, but also photos from their private collections were released, which are now in the House of Legacies in Adligat, which gave the public a chance to get to know them better. In addition, Adligat displayed parts of its rich collections, such as the letters of Nikola Tesla, the magic book of the Batak tribe, and Tibetan prayer books.
During the Wikipedian in residence, 34 articles were written, 28 were supplemented and 17 were illustrated, while 451 photographs and 3 economic guides from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century were posted on Wikimedia commons. This cooperation is extremely important to us because we were given the opportunity to peek into the invaluable wealth of this institution and with this important project we started working on long-term cooperation. This cooperation is a good example of its two-way and the importance that cultural institutions gain by presenting their content.

We are increasing the cultural heritage on Wikidata
The first independent thematic week of editing Wikidata was held, which lasted from 17th to 23rd August. The thematic week included an increase in data on cultural heritage on Wikidata and 514 changes were made, 67 items were supplemented, while 2 items were made. On this occasion, Wikimedia Serbia has prepared an Introduction to Wikidata and Instructions for editing Wikidata to help new editors to understand importance of Wikidata.
