Re:Translation request

edit

Hi Another Believer,

Usually, I'm always willing to collaborate on translations for the five languages that I use regularly (Portuguese, English, Spanish, Galician and Catalan). But at this time, the edits that I have made in some articles (created or expanded by me) on the English Wikipedia were put under suspicion by a biased editor, with a political agenda contrary to what I consider fair and right (think a Tea Party member editing an article related to Obamacare - something like that). So, if this work does not involve translations to the English Wikipedia, I think I can at least take a look. Tell me more.

Thanks,

De-sysopping

Per Wikimedia:Inactivity policy, your account is due for having advanced user rights removed. If you would like to retain these user rights, please post a message on this talk page and use {{Ping}} to alert me. Note that this message is being sent to several users who are in the same situation and many have never used administrator tools. In the past, community standards were more lax about who received adminship or bureaucratship and between this policy and a further solicitation of consensus, we are reigning in some of the requirements for advanced user rights. You will also be receiving an email from me if you have it enabled. Koavf (talk) 21:27, 13 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Koavf: Thanks for the heads up. I'm comfortable remaining an admin, but also fine if the privileges are taken away. Obviously, I don't edit this wiki much, but if/when I do, I'd like to think I could be trusted with advanced tools. But again, also no worries if there are different rules or procedures that must be followed. Take care! -Another Believer (talk) 22:41, 13 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
No problem. As you see can see at the policy page, requesting admin rights back if you've previously had them is not a problem so if you say that you're going to use these tools, then I can just let you have them for now. Koavf (talk) 22:50, 13 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
